How accurate are the cost estimates?
Based on current (2026) Pakistan market rates for Tier-1 panels, hybrid inverters, and lithium batteries. Actual quotes may vary by city and brand — use as a guide, not a final price.
Do I need an account to use the calculator?
No account needed at all. The calculator works without any signup. Only the quote request requires your name and phone.
What's the difference between On-Grid, Hybrid and Off-Grid?
Hybrid (our recommendation for Pakistan) keeps you connected to WAPDA while providing backup during load-shedding. On-Grid has no backup. Off-Grid is fully independent — only for remote locations.
How long does payback take?
Typically 5–8 years depending on your bill, city, and system size. After payback, the next 20+ years of electricity is essentially free.
What about net-metering?
Net-metering lets you sell surplus solar units back to WAPDA. The calculator factors this in where available. Your installer can advise on DISCO-specific net-metering rules.
How do I know an installer is verified?
