1. About SolarMate.pk

SolarMate.pk ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is a free online information and estimation platform providing solar system sizing calculators and electrical accessories recommendation tools for users in Pakistan. The Platform is operated as an independent online service under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

2. Nature of the Service — Estimates Only

All results, calculations, figures, recommendations, and outputs generated by SolarMate.pk — including but not limited to solar system size, panel count, battery capacity, cost in PKR, monthly savings, payback period, wire sizes, breaker ratings, DB specifications, and accessory recommendations — are estimates for general planning and informational purposes only.

These estimates are based on general assumptions, average Pakistan market data, and standard engineering approximations. They do not constitute:

• A professional engineering assessment or design
• A licensed electrical design or certification
• A formal quotation or commercial offer
• A guarantee of savings, performance, or system behaviour
• Advice from a NEPRA-certified or PEC-registered engineer

Actual system requirements, costs, and performance will vary based on site conditions, electricity tariffs, load patterns, equipment specifications, installation quality, and other factors. Always obtain a formal assessment from a licensed professional before making any financial or installation decisions.

3. No Professional or Engineering Advice

SolarMate.pk is not a licensed engineering firm, electrical contractor, or NEPRA/PEC registered entity. Nothing on this Platform constitutes professional engineering, electrical, financial, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified and licensed professional for any actual design, installation, or investment decision related to solar energy systems or electrical works.

4. Third-Party Installers

SolarMate.pk may list or connect users with third-party solar installers ("Installers"). These Installers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or partners of SolarMate.pk. We do not supervise, control, or take responsibility for:

• The quality, workmanship, or safety of any installation carried out by an Installer
• The accuracy of any quotation or pricing provided by an Installer
• Any contractual dispute between a user and an Installer
• Any loss, damage, injury, or financial harm arising from engaging an Installer

Users engage Installers entirely at their own risk. SolarMate.pk strongly recommends verifying installer credentials, licenses, and references independently before signing any contract or making any payment.

While we make reasonable efforts to keep pricing data, tariff rates, and technical parameters up to date, we do not warrant that any information on the Platform is accurate, complete, current, or free from errors. Solar panel prices, battery costs, NEPRA tariffs, and market conditions change frequently. Always verify current pricing with suppliers and installers directly.

7. Use of the Platform

You agree to use SolarMate.pk only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Platform for any illegal activity under Pakistan law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce our tools or code
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use automated bots or scrapers on the Platform
• Interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, designs, code, and materials on SolarMate.pk are the intellectual property of SolarMate.pk and are protected under applicable Pakistani law. You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without written permission is prohibited.

9. Lead Submissions & Communications

When you submit a quote request or installer enquiry form, you consent to being contacted by SolarMate.pk and/or partner installers via phone, WhatsApp, or email for the purpose of fulfilling your request. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at support@solarmate.pk.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including but not limited to the Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA), the Contract Act 1872, and any applicable consumer protection regulations. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable under Pakistani law, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
